Sandhill Scientific has been a world-wide leader in the field of gastroenterology diagnostics for over 25 years. Known for innovative, enabling technologies and world class clinical and technical support, the company continues to lead the industry in high definition G.I. diagnostic systems.

ZepHrTM

Total Reflux Monitoring - precise assessment of acid and nonacid reflux for superior diagnosis and effective therapies.

The new ZepHrTM impedance/pH recorder is about one third the size and weight of previous generations but still incorporates all of the same outstanding characteristics that have made this the leading reflux recorder in the world. The ZepHrTM system employs impedance to detect reflux activity and uses pH to categorize each episode as acid or nonacid and provides a correlation between reflux and symptoms.

Indications for combined impedance / pH testing

  • Persistent symptoms while on acid suppressive therapy
  • Primarily postprandial symptons
  • Reflux symptons and frequent meal ingestion (i.e., infant)

Clinical trials have established that nonacid reflux can be associeted with GERD symptoms. In addition, ZepHrTM provides a true negative study by indentifying patients with no reflux association.

Impedance is a measure that Sandhill Scientific uniquely applies to produce the most accurate, most powerful, data-rich assessment enabling you to differentiate patient diseases presenting with similiar espohageal symptoms.

BioView G.I. Diagnostic Software

Sandhill's world-renowned BioView analysis software generates reports simply and quickly, so that reflux monitoring is no longer a mystery. AutoSCAN, a feature within BioView, assists with interpreting a 24 hour impedance/pH study.

Plus, BioVIEW allows you to perform a Z Swallow ChallengeTM bolus transit screening test during an impedance/pH test with a single intubation. Only this ZepHr/BioVIEW combination provides a simple and effective tool to identify patients with bolus transit impairment concurrently with acid and nonacid reflux monitoring.

INSIGHTTM HRiMTM - Simplify the Complexities of Esophageal Function Testing

Bolus transit is the single most important parameter for assessing dysphagia and qualifying paitients prior to anti-reflux sugery - information you can not get with manometry alone.

The new InSIGHT HRiM system from Sandhill and supported by Carsen Medical uses exclusive BioVIEW software to assess muscular activity with high resolution manometry and bolus transit dynamics with impedance.

Insight HRiM provides comprehensive esophageal function data in one simple test performed from a single probe.

Features and Benefits:

  • Easy to learn
  • Easy to use
  • Time efficent
  • Comprehensive

Now with HRiM, you can view and assess contractile activity and bolus transit dynamics of the entire swallow process through the combination of high resolution manometry AND impedance... from a single screen.
