Carsen Medical, Inc. Announces Availability of Soluscope CC-GTA Automated Endoscope Reprocessor in Canada

European designed AER sets new standard in speed, security and simplicity

Markham, ON, August 1st, 2008 Carsen Medical Inc., today announced the immediate availability of the Soluscope CC-GTA from Medivators, one of the fastest and most sophisticated automated endocope reprocessors ever made available to Canadian GI professionals. Compact and odourless, the Soluscope CC-GTA is the choice for hospitals and clinics seeking the convenience of a quick and completely automated reprocessing solution with the reassurance of a validated and secure process.

The Soluscope CC-GTA is among the fastest AERs with a cycle time as fast as 17 minutes. The single shot design uses a specially designed glutaraldehyde-based disinfectant with an enzymatic cleaner that offers an affordable and faster alternative to current AER technology - a peracetic acid version is scheduled for release in the fall of 2008.

Designed in France, the Soluscope CC-GTA meets the high level disinfection requirements of endoscopy including irrigation control that detects blocked or disconnected channels.   • Inner channel flow control ensuring that each channel is properly connected and flushed with the proper amount of chemistry and rinse water in each cycle.

  • Full traceability through bar code reader traces all the cycle parameters (endoscope, user, chemicals, filter batch number and replacement date, etc.)
  • A compact and complete system including a trolley, a printer, two line LCD display, a water treatment unit, an air break tank and a booster pump all within a small 1.15m x .9m x .8m assembly.
